Joshua 1:5-7
[5]No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you.
[6]Be strong (confident) and of good courage, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.
[7]Only you be strong and very courageous, that you may do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you. Turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.
God has made promises for your life, He will fulfill them! Amen🖐🏾!
But on your part, you are supposed to stay within the commandments, principles, laws and will of God! Do not depart from the boundaries God has set for your life. Some are general; do not kill, do not steal, love your neighbor as yourself. And some are personal; Samson wasn’t supposed to cut His hair, the disciples were not supposed to leave Jerusalem before the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
Walking within God’s guidelines is a bold step! It means stepping out of the ordinary, separating yourself from the world and operating in faith/belief and not necessarily understanding, for God’s ways are not our ways so we can’t always comprehend them.
The strength is in the journey, when you accept the invitation to be used by God like Joshua did, God will make enormous strength out of whatever little strength that made you take the bold first step.
Following God is defying the world, it’s rebelling against the world and so be courageous and strong, stand your ground for the sake of your destiny!
