“The end is always the beginning!”
[30]When Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, It is finished! And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit. -John 19:30
We can not talk of our lives and leave out the cross for the marks the ending of the devil’s reign over us, in sin, and the beginning of Christ’s reign over us in righteousness.
The work that was done on Calvary gave us access into the unlimited grace in Christ which enables us to achieve all that we are achieving, to have all that we have and to have an identity as God’s children.
We are able to claim protection from the blood of Jesus, leadership from the Holy Spirit of God and forgiveness from the father because of the cross.
It could have been us, dying for our own sins and shortfalls, but no, God’s love for us was so great; He sacrificed His son for us.
When you wake up each morning, always remember that on the cross, you were given a chance to live anew and thank God for that!
